Parking area: 166.3 km². It is larger than Lovcen, smaller than Durmitor and Lake Skadar and about the same size as Biogradska Gora. The highest mountain in Prokletije Park is Jezertsa (2692 m). The park is characterized by rich flora and fauna - this is its main feature, which makes Prokletije the center of mountain biodiversity in the Balkans. Forests are one of the most important natural treasures when it comes to flora. About the fauna - 170 species of birds nest here. In the national park, the Volushnitsa peaks and Hridskoe Lake can be distinguished as the main natural attractions. Prokletiye Park will be interesting for skiers, climbers, speleologists, hunters and fishermen - this is what you can do here in addition to contemplating nature.
Prokletije is located in eastern Montenegro. The nearest town is Plav. You can get here in 5 hours by car. The distance from Tivat Airport is 235 km. The mountains of Prokletije National Park rise above two impressive valleys: Grbaje and Ropojana, which offer many attractions that attract outdoor enthusiasts to these places. Lake Ropojana, the upper reaches of the Oko Skakavice, the Grlje Gorge, waterfalls and prehistoric paintings are just a few of them. The park has a system of marked cycle paths. The hiking trails lead through uninhabited mountain areas and forests. Bicycles can be rented at the tourist center.
